My names are Richard Ochii a member of ‘Life in Africa’ and I work with the invisible children bracelet project as a repairer.

Am (28), I came from the District of Pader and I live at the Acholi Quarters with my wife and son of 2 years. I was forced to leave my home in the north due to the insurgency there. My camp where I had initially taken refuge was attacked by the rebels and that prompted my movement into the capital city where I have now lived for the past two years.

I just started off at the stone quarry where everyone was actually getting his daily bread and later got a chance of joining life in Africa, this brought great change to my life
